Aquariums in the Classroom
Learn how to create your own aquarium with your students. Discover the importance of water chemistry and filtration while creating beautiful underwater seascapes.
Stingray Experience
Enjoy an up-close and personal encounter with five species of stingrays and bonnethead sharks in Ripley’s Stingray Experience. Bring a bathing suit and towel because you will be getting into the water for an unforgettable hands-on experience. Ripley’s will provide the swim skins and all of the fun. You will also enjoy an educational presentation where you will learn all about these fascinating animals.
Ripley’s Kayaking Adventure
Experience aquatic ecosystems close–up and personal on this field experience. You will need closed toed shoes, a towel, and possibly a change of clothes for this adventure as you set out in kayaks to explore the inlets, and estuaries that dot the South Carolina Coast. You will get wet and dirty on this exciting trip.
Intro to SCUBA
Experience the fun and excitement of SCUBA Diving as you participate in this introduction to SCUBA. You will need a swimsuit and towel for this exciting experience as you enjoy the breathtaking sights of the deep.
